About us
Straatman Mooring Systems is a Dutch company specializing in safe and reliable mooring systems, supplying customers worldwide. Our products include Quick Release Mooring Hooks, Berthing Aid Systems and the SafeCom Ship-to-Shore Link. We also offer a solar power system for maritime use and the patented Smart Bollard.
Founded in 1902 as a machine factory in the Netherlands, the company grew step by step into a specialist in equipment for the maritime industry. Today, Straatman Mooring Systems is part of the Straatman Group, consisting of four Dutch companies, each specialized in designing and manufacturing products for the maritime industry. Together, we develop reliable, project-specific solutions that are used in ports, terminals and vessels worldwide. With more than a century of experience, we continue to build solid products and support our customers every step of the way.
Our Heritage
Our roots go back to 1902, when L. Straatman founded the original company in Dordrecht. Today, Straatman has grown into two specialized businesses: Straatman Mooring Systems and Straatman Dredging & Construction. Together, under Straatman Global, we serve the maritime industry with trusted, Dutch-engineered solutions.
